Athens

Athens is the historical capital of Europe, dating from the first settlement in the Neolithic age. In 1834, it became the capital of the modern Greek state and in two centuries since it has become an attractive modern metropolis with unrivalled charm.

Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki (520 km. north of Athens) is the second largest city of Greece and the most important centre of the area. Built near the sea (at the back of the Thermaïkos Gulf), it is a modern metropolis bearing the marks of its stormy history and its cosmopolitan character, which give it a special beauty and charm.Take a tour in the centre of Thessaloniki and plan to visit its nearby destinations. Also, while being in Thessaloniki it is worth going up to Halkidiki.

Pylos – Costa Navarino

The natural beauty of Messinia region with the indented shores, sandy beaches, forested mountains and fertile valleys, coexists with significant archaeological monuments. People have lived in Messinia since the Neolithic age; however the Mycenaean age was indisputably the golden in Messenia’s history and Pylos was the second largest city after Mycenae.

Wander through the old town’s narrow alleys, take a stroll to the main square leading to a park, the harbor and the beach.

Patra

Welcome to Patras, a place where entertainment, history and culture mingle together to create a destination filled with wonderful discoveries. Start your exploration around the city from Aghiou Nikolaou (Ayiou Nikoláou), the most famous pedestrian street. There, 192 steps await to lead you to the Old City. A romantic stroll around its cobbled streets will reveal grand colourful neoclassic mansions, reminders of the city’s glorious past. Visit the city’s Medieval Castle, and take in breathtaking views of the city. Patrino karnavali (Patras carnival) is the largest event of its kind in Greece and one of the biggest in Europe. This carnival is purely of Italian origin and  started approximately 180 years ago, believed to have acquired a prestigious reputation thanks to the masquerade balls thrown in the mansions of the local bourgeoisie.
